Corrections Policy
When a factual error could affect a reader’s decision, our priority is to correct the page quickly and make the correction clear.
What counts as a correction
Examples include an incorrect fee, rate, product feature, eligibility condition, formula, date or attribution. Routine changes to live product terms may be treated as updates rather than errors when the prior information was accurate when published.
How we handle material errors
We correct the affected content, recheck the surrounding decision logic and update the page date. For significant errors, we intend to add a visible correction note explaining what changed.
